Volunteer

We’re continuously looking for volunteers with an interest in history, education, museum administration, maintenance, and more! Please see the list below for ways you can support the RLRHS as a volunteer.

Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We are fortunate to have some wonderfully generous people lend their time and talents to a variety of important tasks.

 Opportunities

We can always use help with any number of tasks:

• Be a History Host at the Outdoor Heritage Museum or Rangeley History Museum - orient visitors and answer their questions about the exhibits

• Catalog our collections

• Help write a grant

• Support an event or program

• Prepare mailings

• Help with landscaping; spring clean-up

• Photograph our events and programs, or our museum collections

• Distribute posters and flyers for events

• Sell raffle tickets

• Help out with general carpentry, repair and painting
